What?

PEAL Center staff members have been reading books from our lending library this summer. Many of the books we have selected to read have been written by or about persons with disabilities. Others are about making inclusion happen. Still others are about the highs and lows of inclusion.

Now, we would like to get together with you to talk about a topic that is of great interest to us, inclusion!

Borrowing from pop culture, we have decided to host a meet up group. Meet up groups are gatherings of similarly minded persons who come together for the purpose of sharing ideas, networking, and maybe even doing something (according to Wikipedia, that is) on a shared topic of interest.

Our shared topic of interest is inclusion-the good, the bad, and the ugly.

The PEAL Center is encouraging you to connect with us and others on Wednesday, July 23rd at 6:30 PM at the Panera Bread located on 3800 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, 15213.

You don’t need to read a book to join in on this discussion, just come prepared to share your own story! However, feel free to peruse our online lending library. If you find an interesting book, let us know and we will get it to you quickly.

No reservations are necessary to attend the meet up.
